Each class consists of the following:

 

Strength & Conditioning

Our strength and conditioning program is for everybody. The workouts are different every day and can be modified for each person depending on their fitness level.

Most of the workouts consists of a high intensity workout using full body exercises aimed to burn fat, build muscle, and improve stamina. We also incorporate days where the workout is more strength-focused with lower intensity and other days where the workout is more endurance and cardio based.

Workouts may include the use of barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, pull-up bars, boxes, medicine balls, sleds, bodyweight movements, rowing, biking, jump rope, and/or running.

EVERYTHING can be scaled to your level.


Meditation & Yoga

On some classes, there will be a short guided meditation and yoga at the beginning of class.

Meditation is a transformative practice to cultivate self awareness, a calm state of mind, a more joyful and peaceful way of being. We begin with 7 minutes of guided meditation.

After meditation will be 10 minutes of guided yoga.

For yoga, we do Surya Shakti, an active form of the Sun Salutation. It is an ancient yogic practice consisting of a powerful sequence of 18 postures. Surya Shakti balances a person’s left and right energy channels, leading to stability of the body and stillness of the mind. It will also be used as a general warm-up to loosen and mobilize our spine, joints, and muscles before the workout.
